Intoxicated student verbally abuses worker
An intoxicated student became verbally abusive to a Residential Security Adviser at about 4 a.m. Friday in Lawrinson Hall, according to a Public Safety report.
The student had been injured in an off-campus fight and refused to show his identification to the RSA on duty when he entered the residence hall, the report stated.
Officials notified the Office of Residence Life and emergency personnel transported the student to a local hospital, the report added.

Public Safety officials notified the Syracuse Police Department, which transported the non-student to a local hotel, the report stated.
The case has been reported to the Office of Judicial Affairs, the report added.
n A broken sprinkler flooded a portion of Boland Hall at about 3 a.m. Friday, according to a Public Safety report.
The Syracuse Fire Department, Public Safety and Housing Food Services Maintenance responded to a fire alarm in the hall, the report added.
Officials found a broken sprinkler head in the flooded area, the report stated.
n An unidentified person or persons damaged a parking gate arm at about 1 p.m. on Friday at the Carrier Dome, according to a Public Safety report.
Officials notified State University of New York College of Environmental Studies and Forestry police and Parking Services, the report added.
n A SUNY ESF officer caught two SU students removing property from the SUNY ESF campus, according to a Public Safety report.
Officials referred the students to Judicial Affairs, the report added.
The case has been closed, the report stated.
