‘The Seed of Chucky’ trailer review

This trailer hits all of the awesome bases.

Slow graphics that explain the legacy of a cheesy horror/comedy franchise? Check. Jennifer Tilly lamenting the spiraling failure that her career has become by taking not one, but two roles in the fifth ‘Child’s Play’ movie? Check. Redman? Check. A cameo by independent movie god John Waters (!) and his moustache (!!)? Check.

But really, the grand finale of this masterpiece is the tagline. Sparing no tact and counting the days until it appears on a gigantic billboard outside the TRL studios in Times Square, the end of the trailer reveals the spearhead of the eventual marketing blitz to be: Get a Load of Chucky.

For those of you who don’t get it, load and seed are slang terms for semen.
