Kelly Outram

Working here was a complete s***show. How am I still alive? Oh, I know because of these people.

Levin: My D.O. Big Brother and the best Featch editor ever. Your quirkiness and constant e-mails kept me writing. I’m happy that even after you left, you continued to look out for me. I hope Guatemala rocks, and hopefully we’ll meet again.

Erinn: After I had my first read with you, I wanted to be you – smart, chill and a great writer. Though I never actively tried to replicate you, our wardrobe similarities must make me look like a major creep.

Dockery: Between the button downs and ‘Boys In Da Hood’ YouTube clips, I was positive you were insane. But after the two semesters that we had, who wouldn’t be? I’m impressed you stuck with the job amidst all the heinousness.

Fall Featch ’08: We were an…interesting team of misfits who somehow produced a section nightly. I enjoyed dancing, having walk-offs and blasting Katy Perry nightly (oh, wait, we were supposed to work?)

Spring Featch ’09: I made you listen to Lady Gaga, now that’s accomplishment.

Fall Featch ’09: Hall and Oates said it the best, ‘You make my dreams come true (oh, oh, oh, oh).’ Sorry for the random outbursts, my filthy mouth and the Long Island jokes. Take that back, the Long Island jokes were great (ahem, Britt, ahem).

Spring Featch ’10: Flash’s Angels! I think this semester will shine. Good luck, kids!

Amity: Your calmness kept me in check and your work ethic never ceased to astound me. I’m happy I worked with you for two semesters, and I suppose I’m not THAT upset about sharing my historic duck with you.

Brittney: Oh sugar! You were a big help. I would not have been able to make it without you. Good luck with everything, and remember to breathe. Oh, and sorry I almost blinded you.

Flash: YOU ARE AMAZING. The enthusiasm, hard work, Jay-Z lyrics and overall swag have truly been an honor. Keep working hard, your section is going to be fantastic. ‘The motivation to me, is them telling me what I could not be, oh well.’

Fersh: I’m glad I got to know you. There were a lot of haters, but you took it like a champ with some humility and a lot of zero f***s.

Ben, Mackers, Max, Krebs: Election night, Canada, Photo/Featch pong night…You photo people shaped this place for me. No matter how things may have changed, our time together remains special to me.

Addonizio: When you came to Newhouse to cheer up me and Mackenzie, then waved to us as you were walking away to Marshall Street, was one of the nicest things anyone has done. You have a kind heart, and you’re a talented photographer. Also, taking that Belvedere was pure bada**.

Carly: You are a great friend and an inspiring individual. I know the photo department will be fantastic next semester.

Kelina: NSLC is very important to me. The fact that we were able to share it says enough.

Conor: Remember when I tackled your table? Great, because I don’t. You are the fahking greatest, and the coolest White Boy ever. I’ll actually read sports next semester. WOO!

Bortz: Definition of b****. But there’s an actual human under that filthy persona. Someone who took a sad girl to Denny’s for a little cheer up (even though I was walking into the friggin’ War Room).

Shayna: There’s a dinosaur in our apartment! Sorry you had to live with me and my antics, but I had such a blast. Who knew two washed-up head editors could enjoy each other’s company. With any luck our wild roommateship will continue in Miami, by then our classy wine and cheese parties won’t get busted.

Mackenzie: I knew you were amazing when I heard you rapping to Will Smith’s ‘Wild, Wild West.’ That only escalated when we sang and danced for ‘flavored’ lollipops in Canada. I miss you so much, can’t wait for senior year.

Kristin: FRIEND, UGH! Can we go to tea? Like, now? You are an awesome pal and an amazingly talented and innovative designer. NO CLASSY TEA WITHOUT ME!

Abram: There’s this stupid cliché that says the person you’re looking for is usually right under your nose, even though it takes you a while to notice them. Man, did you prove that one wrong, winkyface. I loved every second I was with you this semester. I hope London gives me more memories and more things to make fun of you for. Lawls.

Stephanie: I blame you – for everything. The late nights, the tears, the stress, the laughter, the crazy impromptu trips, helping me meet some of the best people ever, teaching me how to tell the perfect morning after story, allowing me to survive long enough to earn a duck, making me want to stay at this university. How could you? I’m going to miss you SO MUCH in London, who will I dance to ‘Single Ladies’ with? Abram and Dan have no rhythm. Thanks for being the best, don’t forget me.

Kelly/Whiteis/Christian/Caitlin/Jon/James: I am head-over-heels-in-friend love with you crazies. You all have been there for me, returning my manic phone calls, calming me down or listening to me vent about people you’ve never met. You’re the best friends anyone could have asked for.

I hope the French fries are good in London.
