Boeheim decision reversed

New York state’s high court on Tuesday unanimously reversed two prior decisions throwing out a defamation lawsuit against Jim Boeheim, ruling his comments that two former Syracuse ball boys were lying about being sexually abused to get money were not opinions protected under free speech. Joe Biden visits Syracuse

Vice President Joe Biden, an SU College of Law alumnus, spoke at a hangar near Syracuse Hancock International Airport on Monday to rally support for U.S. Rep. Dan Maffei (D-Syracuse). Biden discussed the strengthening of the middle class and higher education. Click here.

Twenty-one paintings by Syracuse University alumni are featured in an exhibit called “Painting Alumni Retrospective” at the 914Works gallery. Senior painting major Paul Weiner organized the exhibit because he wanted to feature paintings from different generations of alumni. Click here.
