Wardrobe Wednesday: Henna Kulaly

If you want to recreate sophomore magazine major Henna Kulaly’s style, don’t shop at Destiny USA; Kulaly curates her closet with more interesting pieces than those found in your local Forever 21. Her cool dress is from the high-fashion European brand COS, which has recently opened stores in New York and Los Angeles. COS is a sister brand of H&M that describes itself as modern and functional — two words that also seem to define Kulaly’s style.

Kulaly’s dress may be European-chic, but her all-American jacket comes from a place not so far away: Armory Square. Kulaly scored this oversized Levi’s jacket from a vintage store in the square. A big denim jacket is the perfect touch to dress down her outfit for class.

Kulaly completed her outfit with classic Adidas sneakers. These casual kicks give a fresh, edgy vibe to the overall look.

Kulaly proves that it is a combination of both new, trendy stores and old, vintage ones that makes for a great wardrobe. Take inspiration from her bold yet minimalistic style by trying out a simple dress-sneaker combo, and don’t be afraid to check out the local boutiques and secondhand stores. You never know what you might find.
