But after Friday’s game with Boston College was tied in regulation, the Orange was in a familiar spot, the fifth game it had played past the 70-minute mark of regulation’s end. And for the third time this season, SU pulled out a victory in that extra time. It was senior Roos Weers who finished it off, scoring off a penalty corner in double overtime to send the Orange into a celebration.
