Syracuse made history on Sunday with the biggest win in program history, and as a result, moved into the Top 25 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings for the second time ever.

After defeating Pittsburgh 5-2 on Friday, Syracuse (14-3, 6-3 Atlantic Coast) upset No. 3 Georgia Tech on Sunday to move up nine spots in the team rankings. The No. 25 ranking is the second-highest in team history, behind only its No. 24 ranking in March 2016.

The top doubles pairing of Gabriela Knutson and Miranda Ramirez rocketed up the rankings after their dominant 6-2 win over the No. 1 doubles team in the nation Sunday. The pair is ranked No. 12 in the nation and has now won three-straight matches together after four-consecutive losses.

Knutson picked up two victories last week at first singles, including a come-from-behind, three-set win over No. 22 Paige Hourigan to clinch the match against GT. Despite the wins, Knutson dropped one spot in the singles rankings, checking in at No. 10 in the nation.

Syracuse travels to Florida this weekend for a pair of road matches, facing No. 19 Florida State on Friday and No. 18 Miami on Sunday.
