Syracuse (7-6, 4-0 Atlantic Coast) head coach John Desko earned his fourth-consecutive men’s ACC Coach of the Year Award after leading SU to an undefeated regular season conference record.

Desko’s award now makes him the first coach in ACC history to win four-straight Coach of the Year Awards. Desko has not lost a regular-season conference game since the 2016 season.

Entering the season, SU was picked to finish fourth in the conference, but entered the ACC Tournament as the No. 1 seed before losing to the No. 4 seed Virginia in the ACC Tournament Semifinals. Should Syracuse reach the NCAA Tournament, it would be Desko’s 19th appearance in 20 seasons at the helm.

Next up for SU is a date with Colgate (7-7, 3-5 Patriot League) on Saturday in the Carrier Dome to close the regular season.
